The collection service is designed to meet the needs of national and international Carriers, managing incoming telephone traffic on their systems. TWT’s widespread presence nationwide enables us to manage traffic from anywhere in Italy and/or other countries and to deliver it to our customers’ systems. This service can be used in combination with the voice Transit service.
A Carrier can use this service to present itself on the market with various types of access numbers, from simple geographical numbers to toll-free numbers, not only national but international as well.
Calls originating from other fixed and mobile national networks are delivered on TWT geographical and non- geographical numbers, or via Carrier Selection. Calls are managed by TWT’s systems and routed on the client operator’s interconnection. Numbers can be accessed from the fixed and mobile networks of Italy’s primary operators.
Numbers are available via SS7, PRI or VoIP interconnections with a SIP protocol. TWT is interconnected at a national level with major fixed and mobile Italian operators, thus guaranteeing an even distribution of incoming traffic over various interconnections, while enhancing the collection service’s security, redundancy and reliability.
